Winery
The Castelvecchio vineyards stretch over 15 acres (6 hectares) with a vine density of 2207 vines per acre (5434 vines per hectare). They are cultivated using the Guyot method with low yield.
The red grape varieties grown are Sangiovese, Colorino, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, and the white grapes are Trebbiano, Malvasia and Colombana. All the grapes are harvested by hand.

Composed mainly of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes. Vinified with natural yeasts, aged in wood barrels for 12 months and at least 4 months in the bottle

Pure Sangiovese, vinified with natural yeasts, aged in wood barrels for 12 months and at least 4 months in the bottle
VIN SANTO DEL CHIANTI DOC
ARMIDA
Trebbiano, Malvasia and Colombana grapes are selected from the vineyard and dried for minimum 3 months. Once dried, grapes are pressed and their thick, sweet juice is aged in small oak barrels for 5 years

The sentences are chosen from a repertoire that contains citations of every kind in order to make each bottle unique, a message to be welcomed and remembered.

GRAPPA D’ARMIDA
Grappa d’Armida comes from the distillation of Tuscan pomace. After 18 months of aging in wood, it rests for another 12 months in the caratello, the small barrel in which the precious Vin Santo armida has been refined. Every year we produce only 500 bottles of our special Grappa
